Corporate gatherings of any kind are often a crazy mix of trying to manage “connecting with co-workers” and not embarrassing yourself in front of the boss. Even more important to turn this recipe for disaster into a bonding triumph. HiSide Events conceptualised and brought to life a Family Fun Day for DRA. The event was attended by 1500 of the company’s employees.
It was held at The Barn @ The Fourways Farmers Market on Taroko Farm in Modderfontein. The brief was simply for the employees and their families to have a fun day out, let their hair down, unwind and relax. We put on a fun day with non-stop fun and entertainment for all ages. We ran a Mad Hatters Hat competition for the children, and the adults had fun with a Tug-o-War contest that had the entire audience shouting for their favourite team. Allegro Soul entertained the crowd and our DJ got everyone up and dancing. We had an assortment of food trucks, with a wide choice of meal & dessert options for all.
